The organizer of the International Astronautical Congress is the International Astronautical Federation. The 77th International Astronautical Congress will be hosted by the Turkish Space Agency and co-hosted by the SAHA Istanbul Defense and Aerospace Cluster.
The IAC is the one place and time of the year where all global space actors come together, an event to gather all space players, share ideas and shape the future of the space exploration and responsible exploitation. Members of the Academia, researcher, and the international aviation and aerospace industry are expected to attend, the IAC will not only be a professional event but also an opportunity for large-scale engagement.
Covering all space sectors and topics, it offers everyone the latest space information and developments in academia and industry, networking opportunities, contacts, and potential partnerships.
Under the motto “The World Needs More Space”, the aim of IAC 2026 is to advocate for the sustainable and equitable exploration of space. As more countries and diverse stakeholders join the global space economy, it is essential to ensure that space remains an open frontier for all. The IAC 2026 will address pressing issues surrounding space security, exploration, and the ethical implications of our activities beyond Earth.
We aim to inspire a dialogue that transcends borders, encouraging innovative solutions that harness the benefits of space exploration while safeguarding it for future generations. The congress will feature engaging discussions, groundbreaking presentations, and collaborative workshops that seek to unite our shared aspirations for the future of space.
IAC 2026 involves partners and suppliers engaged in adopting sustainable measures and limiting their carbon footprint in their daily practice. The Congress will take place at NEST Convention Centre, a venue that ensure the protection of the biodiversity of indoor and outdoor spaces, maximize the circular economy (minimization of disposable products and waste management), use environmentally friendly materials and products, promote the sustainable mobility, control and reduce the pollutant emissions.
IAC 2026 support the Food for Good project to recover surplus food and redistribute it to people and families in need.
